Carport Cure

Carport Cure – Drip Preventor is a specialized insulating coating designed for the underside of sheet metal carports. It prevents water condensation from forming, eliminating unsightly white drip marks that can damage or stain motor vehicle paintwork.

Application Instructions:

• Surface Preparation:

  • Clean the entire underside surface thoroughly using a high-pressure hose to remove dust, dirt, and grime.

  • For new untreated galvanized iron, apply an acid degreasing primer.

  • For rusted surfaces, remove loose rust and apply a rust-converting primer.

  • Ensure surfaces are completely dry before application.

• Leak Repair: Seal any existing leaks on the top side of the sheeting with Flash Harry – One Shot prior to application.

• Safety Precautions: Always wear proper eye protection (goggles) during preparation and application.

• Application Conditions: Avoid applying when the sheeting is cold (early morning/evening) or wet from rain.

Coverage:

• One standard carport (6m x 3m) requires approximately 15 litres.
