Description

Bond & Key is a premium water-based bonding and keying liquid formulated to improve the adhesion of cement and gypsum-based products to a wide variety of building surfaces. Suitable for use as both a surface treatment and an admixture, it creates a strong bonding bridge between substrates and new finishes, ensuring long-lasting results.

As a surface primer, Bond & Key promotes excellent adhesion on smooth and difficult-to-bond surfaces including concrete, face brick, plasterboard, previously painted walls, and other impervious substrates. It also enhances the coverage and adhesion of acrylic water-based paints, providing a superior base for decorative coatings.

When added directly to plaster, cement mixes, tile adhesives, or tile grouts, Bond & Key increases bond strength, improves flexibility, and enhances water resistance, making it ideal for both interior and exterior applications.

Application Notes

• Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, oil, and loose material before application.
• Apply evenly as a primer before plastering or painting.
• When used as an admixture, mix according to the manufacturer’s recommended dilution ratios.
• Do not apply to wet or waterlogged surfaces.
• Allow adequate drying time before applying subsequent coatings or finishes.
• Clean tools and equipment with water immediately after use.
