Description
Youngtherm® Glass Wool is a lightweight, flexible insulation material engineered for superior thermal and acoustic performance in flat roof ceiling systems. Manufactured using non-combustible glass wool fibres, it delivers excellent heat resistance, sound absorption, and fire safety compliance, making it ideal for residential, commercial, and light industrial applications.
This insulation solution is designed to improve indoor comfort by reducing heat gain and loss while also minimising external noise. It is moisture-resistant, chemically inert, and does not support mould, bacteria, or vermin growth, ensuring long-term reliability without performance degradation.
Youngtherm® is compliant with strict fire and environmental standards, making it a safe and sustainable choice for modern construction projects.
Key Uses & Benefits:
- Thermal Insulation: Reduces heat transfer through roofing systems, improving energy efficiency.
- Acoustic Performance: Absorbs sound effectively, reducing noise from rain, traffic, and industrial environments.
- Non-Combustible: Fire rating A1-s1,d0, suitable for buildings requiring strict fire compliance.
- Moisture Resistant: Non-hygroscopic and resistant to mould, bacteria, and vermin.
- Durable & Stable: Maintains performance over time without sagging or settling.
- Lightweight & Flexible: Easy to handle, cut, and install between roof trusses.
- Safe & Environmentally Friendly: Odourless, non-toxic, and manufactured to ISO quality and environmental standards.
- Corrosion Safe: Will not corrode metals and is compatible with standard building materials.
