Isoboard thermal insulation is a high-density, extruded polystyrene rigid insulation board with a 100% closed-cell structure, offering exceptional thermal insulation performance, durability, and moisture resistance. Isoboard has been internationally tried and tested since 1970 and manufactured in South Africa since 1995 using a fully automated extrusion process in accordance with international specifications and standards.

Designed to combine insulation and ceiling finishing into one product, Isoboard delivers an attractive decorative ceiling while significantly reducing heat transfer through roofing systems. It is lightweight, easy to install, low maintenance, and suitable for a wide range of applications including homes, offices, schools, factories, retail spaces, and commercial developments.

Isoboard is one of the few insulation manufacturers to provide AGED thermal performance values, ensuring reliable long-term thermal efficiency over the lifespan of the building. While all insulation materials naturally experience some deterioration over time, Isoboard’s closed-cell structure ensures minimal impact from weathering and moisture.

Isoboard recommends using a thermal conductivity value of 0.026 W/mK (W/m°C) when designing thermal insulation solutions, allowing accurate prediction of long-term insulation performance.
