Hypercrete – Cement Modifier & Keying Agent

Hypercrete is a synthetic latex admixture designed to enhance cement compositions by improving adhesion, increasing water and vapor resistance, and dramatically boosting strength. Its versatility makes it suitable for a wide range of construction and waterproofing applications, particularly where superior bonding and durability are required.

Key Applications:

• Primer/Slurry: When mixed with cement, Hypercrete forms a slurry that significantly improves the adhesion of acrylic coatings to various substrates, ideal for ponding applications. It also acts as a waterproofing solution for under-tile applications, such as shower cubicles.

• Cement Admixture: Enhances screeds, improving flexibility, chemical resistance, and overall strength.

• Can be used with polypropylene membranes (not polyester) in areas where slight movement or cracking may occur.

Additional Details:

• Pot life of approximately five hours, depending on water content.

• Dark grey in colour once mixed with cement.

• Not suitable for swimming pool or fiberglass applications.
